Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is official, first pictures and videos
The game, whose development is overseen by Gearbox, maintains the cel-shaded art style that made famous the series and has confirmed the setting of the Moon of Pandora Elpis as well as an orbiting space station of Hyperion. For this new venture we will be able to choose between four completely new characters, each equipped with new abilities: the murders Athena, the bully cibernetico Whilhelm, Sheriff Nisha and finally Fragtrap, an enhanced version of Claptrap that we impesonare with a particularly low camera view.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel tells the story of how Handsome Jack became the evil known in Borderlands 2, and players will have a key role in his rise. A peculiarity of the game will be the absence of atmosphere on the Moon of Pandora, which will force us to keep an eye on our oxygen level and top off collecting special cylinders. They can also use as a jetpack to take huge leaps, adding a platform component that was missing.
They will of course also present new weapons from the original effects (like the freezer) and new enemies, all in an unmistakable style of Borderlands. The game is expected to end the year: we leave you the official release, followed by the first video, some images and cover.
