Carmageddon Reincarnation will come on next-gen consoles

Last June had not had more news of Carmageddon: Reincarnation, racing game from black humor initially planned for the end of 2012 as Live Arcade. The project however has not been abandoned, and thanks to a donation of 3.5 million Led by Edgar, founder of Bullfrog and former Vice-President of the European headquarters of EA, Stainless Games will continue the development of the game for next generation consoles.

These would add 3.5 million to 625,000 dollars obtained through donations of users with Kickstarter, and Patrick Buckland, Housemarque CEO, commented: " This will enable us to maintain a true independence and full creative control on Carmageddon: Reincarnation without compromising quality or content from budgetary constraints. For an independent company, privately owned, achieve this is a testimony of our strength and the loyalty of our fans ".

The donor Led Edgar added: " I always had great confidence in Stainless Games and really admire their success as indie developers ."

It only remains to wait for further updates.
