BioShock Infinite moved to February 2013
"When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite, we were pretty sure to remain within the established times. Since then, however, we realized that some improvements would make the game even more extraordinary, and we decided to move the release to February 26, 2013 in order to allow developers to implement the new ideas. We wanted our faithful (and very patient) fans know d this change as soon as possible. "
"I don't want to look for excuses: BioShock Infinite is really a great game and we are experiencing things that nobody had ever done in the field of FPS. We had the same problems with the original BioShock: even his date was repeatedly postponed. And you know why? Why the Big Daddy weren't the same Big Daddy you've known and loved, because Rapture needed a hand still more unclean than Art Deco to create the atmosphere that you have conquered. And the same principle you're applying now to BioShock Infinite . "
"What does this mean for you? Does still have a bit of patience, but also means that you'll have a BioShock Infinite even better. The beauty can become beautiful, and we must give it to ourselves that our fans the opportunity to improve. "
Finally, Levine has confirmed that the game will not be shown at E3 in June nor nor at GamesCom in Germany this August.
"In this way, when they finally see BioShock Infinite will be close to the final version, which will be in stores on February 26."
