This is the news that we reported yesterday that had spread like wildfire on the net today the creators of Halo has taken a step back stating that absolutely nothing is confirmed and that Aldridge would have only made a "joke "when he was questioned on the subject.

In practice, according to Bungie, Aldridge was just joking and that his joke would have been misinterpreted by some gaming journalists in attendance. For as we know, however, this does not mean that Bungie has denied working on an MMO, but that confirmation, or rather an official announcement stating that the product belongs to that genre, is yet to come.
