Come ogni anno, dopo l'E3 è il momento dei Game Critics Awards, gli "Oscar dei videogiochi" che vedono una giuria formata da giornalisti ed addetti ai lavori premiare i giochi più meritevoli della fiera. Sono stati da poco annunciati i vincitori dell'edizione di quest'anno, ed Xbox 360 ne esce a testa alta visto che nella sua line-up sono presenti quasi tutti i giochi premiati, con qualche esclusiva d'eccezione come Mass Effect, Halo 3 e Bioshock.

Eccovi di seguito l'elenco di tutti i titoli premiati: scorrendo la lista appare evidente come la console Microsoft sarà sempre più una scelta obbligata per ogni videogiocatore degno di tale nome. Interessante inoltre notare come, a dispetto dell'incredibile successo di mercato, il Wii di Nintendo non abbia ricevuto alcun premio quest'anno.
