Giants Software Announces Project Motor Racing, Arrives in the Fall

The German publisher Giants Software has announced that the new racing game from Straight4 Studios, Project Motor Racing, will arrive on our consoles in the autumn period. The title is proposed as a professional-level simulator with mod support, with the aim of becoming a new benchmark in the genre.

Here are the official details, followed by the announcement trailer and a set of images.

Published by GIANTS Software and developed by Straight4 Studios, Project Motor Racing ignites all the passion, beauty and intensity of professional motorsport. The racing simulator will hit the track in the fall of 2025 with over 70 vehicles from 10 classes and 27 tracks.

Built for thrills

From today's radical LMDh hypercars to iconic legends from motorsport's rich heritage, each car is meticulously recreated and licensed by the world's top automakers such as Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi.

Each class has been curated to ensure grids of today's and yesterday's motor racing heroes, from LMPs to turn-of-the-century GTs, from today's GT3s to 1970s sports cars. With action-packed 4-class races on 27 digitized global tracks, Project Motor Racing is a state-of-the-art motorsport simulation.

Rides for everyone

From racing simulation enthusiasts to novice racers, Project Motor Racing boasts game modes to suit everyone: from single-player Career mode to in-depth online races, from fun leaderboards to crowded race weekends.

An immersive racing experience will put drivers in the cauldron of a racing cockpit with visible G-forces, heat effect, braking forces and dirt, along with sound design that captures the true ferocity of motor racing. "True2Track" will allow riders to experience the authenticity of each track thanks to the adaptive dynamic weather conditions and the 24-hour day/night cycle.

Refined simulation

Project Motor Racing will also feature the latest physics engine for simulated racing, built from the ground up. Based on the GIANTS game engine, it offers unrivalled driving realism at 720Hz, with more natural, non-linear throttle control, as well as precise FFB machined directly from the tie rod and with optimised peripherals.
