Dotemu and Tribute Games (TMNT: Shredder's Revenge) today announced a new licensed scrolling beat 'em up: Marvel Cosmic Invasion harks back to the glorious arcade scrolling beat 'em up, offering us an impressive roster of characters from the Marvel golden era all with local or online co-op support, including cross-play.

The game was announced with a gameplay trailer that reveals the first characters: Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla-Vell, Venom and Nova, who team up against enemies in the scrolling levels.

In Marvel Cosmic Invasion, the immortal supervillain Annihilus has launched an unprecedented attack across the galaxy, threatening all life as we know it.
