EA announces F1 25, arrives at the end of May, cover drivers revealed
Here is the first official information, the announcement trailer and a set of images.
Become the protagonist of the newest chapter of the fan-favorite story mode, Braking Point, with Konnersport fighting to win the championship, while a shocking event throws the team into chaos. Braking Point now comes with several difficulty settings, suitable for both veterans and beginners making their debut in F1.
The fun on the track is heightened with F1, Apple Original Films' event film that will be available this summer, and which will be released in cinemas around the world in June by Warner Bros. Pictures. Those who pre-order the F1 25 Iconic Edition will be able to experience post-launch gameplay chapters inspired by the film with the APXGP team. F1 25 Iconic Edition players will also receive additional content, including liveries from the 2025 season for use in F1 24, and up to three days of early access.
'My Team', the fan favourite, receives its first significant revamping: players will in fact own their own F1 team. Take on new responsibilities before you get behind the wheel as one of the team's drivers.
On the track, F1 25 continues to innovate thanks to the power of its EGO engine. Thanks to a greater authenticity of the circuits made possible by LIDAR technology, several tracks and the surroundings around them have been transformed and now have a more realistic look and feel. Further details on the gameplay features and innovations will be revealed shortly through the Deep Dive series dedicated to F1 25.
As Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary, players will be able to race alongside and against the biggest driver line-up change in recent years, including Lewis Hamilton's unprecedented move from Mercedes to Ferrari. The 2025 season promises to be the most unpredictable and full of strong emotions. With promising new stars looking to make a name for themselves, established drivers battling it out for podiums, or veterans hoping for a world championship with a new team, F1 25 allows players to recreate every breathtaking moment through various single-player options and new collaboration options.
Players who pre-order the digital F1 25 Iconic Edition will receive a range of benefits related to cover star Lewis Hamilton and the F1 movie, along with a selection of liveries from the 2025 season immediately available for use in F1 24's Time Trial mode and much more. The F1 25 Standard Edition, with Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman on the cover, includes an F1 75 Celebration Pack, an F1 World "Starter Pack" and 5,000 PitCoins for players who pre-order.
