In the latest episode of the official Xbox podcast, Microsoft announced that starting in April 2025, Copilot for gaming will be available to Xbox Insider program users via the Xbox mobile app.

During the podcast, Fatima Kardar, corporate vice president for Artificial Intelligence in Gaming at Microsoft and Jason Ronald, lead designer of Xbox Series X|S and the next generation of Xbox consoles, explained that the AI assistant was designed to understand the needs of players and offer various aids such as installing games, advice about playable heroes in Overwatch 2 and tips for starting an adventure in Minecraft. The goal is to make the experience less intrusive, and Microsoft will collect feedback from users to further improve the service.
