Capcom has released a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, dedicated to the icy setting of the Sharp Ice Cliffs; in this rocky and snowy region lives a monster never seen before, the Hirabami. These leviathans possess sail-like membranes that allow them to float and strike from the sky with their razor-sharp tails. The trailer also revealed the return of two fan-favorite monsters: Nerscylla and Gore Magala.

Capcom also announced a second Open Beta Test of the game, in which hunters will be able to challenge Arkveld, the game's flagship monster. In addition to the ability to hunt the "White Spectre," Open Beta Test 2 will introduce the return of the monster Gypceros, the Base Camp training area, and additional online features, such as Private Lobbies and online Single Player. The new Beta will take place from Friday, February 7 at 04:00 in the morning to Monday, February 10 at 03:59 in the morning and from Friday, February 14 at 04:00 in the morning to Monday, February 17 at 03:59 in the morning.
