The Blood of Dawnwalker reveals itself on video

As promised, Bandai Namco and Polish studio Rebel Wolves revealed the new action-RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker tonight, with the CGI opening cinematic showing us "the moment when the world of the game changed forever" two years before the events of the game, as well as a very short gameplay footage showing the current state of the game.

The developers explain that the game takes place in a fourteenth-century Europe plagued not only by the plague, but also by vampires. A group of these, in particular, took possession of the valley of Vale Sangora, closing it off from the outside and protecting its inhabitants only to keep them like cattle, destined sooner or later to be devoured. Some of the inhabitants of the valley have embraced this new order, while others try to fight it by seeking strength in the darkest magic.

The protagonist of the game is called Coen and is a Dawnwalker, a creature that by day appears as a normal man, but by night turns into a vampire; He owes this condition to an illness contracted while working in the silver mines, which prevents him from fully transforming into a vampire. Dawnwalkers are neither men nor vampires, but something that remains suspended in the middle. Coen retains his humanity, and has 30 days and 30 nights to save his village and his family from the vampire threat.

We leave you to the two videos, while the developers refer us to summer 2025 for a revelation in grand style of the gameplay. Enjoy the viewing!
