Atomfall gives us an overview of the gameplay
The footage shows us the dangers and mysteries that await us in this adventure inspired by the real-life events of the 1957 Windscale disaster, picking up the story five years later, in a fictional quarantine zone that includes rolling countryside, valleys, caves and a picturesque English village.
This postcard-perfect scenery is actually a hostile landscape that hides a dark mystery. To find out what happened in Windscale, we'll have to traverse military camps, dig in abandoned bunkers underground, and risk our lives in pagan ruins. Our trusty metal detector will also help us uncover some secrets buried beneath the surface.
At the heart of the dark mystery is the array of eccentric characters and cryptic organizations that inhabit the quarantine zone. These individuals have been isolated from the outside world for years and left to their own devices, so they are far from normal. Interactions with them are important and will shape our journey, even if they are not all friendly and to survive we will have to make good use of a rich array of ranged and melee weapons.
We leave you to the video, reminding you that the game is expected for March 27th.
