2K and Gearbox have finally revealed Borderlands 4, showing us some scenes from the game in a trailer released at the TGA, and confirming the game to be released in 2025. The footage also reveals the game's new enemy, the Timekeeper.

The new trailer introduces The Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who dominates the masses from above. A world-altering catastrophe threatens his Perfect Order, wreaking havoc on Kairos, the most dangerous planet discovered in the Borderlands universe to date.
