New on Fable: fights à la The Witcher, it's already very polished

It's been a while since we heard about the new Fable by Playground Games, to be exact since the demonstration in June, and we don't know for now when it will be officially shown again (maybe at the TGA in December?). But the always well-connected Jez Corden offers us some interesting news about the game today.

The Windows Central journalist has in fact intervened in the Xbox Two podcast explaining that he had the opportunity to admire a gameplay footage taken from an Alpha version of the game.

And Corden's reaction to the video was certainly enthusiastic, as he called it "fantastic": he explained that, despite being an Alpha version, the game already appeared surprisingly polished, with very well done gameplay and without flaws.

Corden then noted how the game shows the presence in the team of several CD Projekt Red developers, including the Combat Designer of The Witcher: the game, in fact, shows fights that somehow present the "DNA" of Geralt Di Rivia's game. The journalist clarified that the gameplay is not an exact replica of The Witcher, but still features similar mechanics. There were different types of weapons, including bows and arrows, spells and melee weapons, there were also enemies with a very characteristic design, with both comical and scary elements such as chickens and werewolves. The journalist concluded by explaining that the whole thing was very impressive.

Undoubtedly reassuring news about the future of Fable: we now hope to be able to see gameplay of this type soon too!
