Alan Wake 2: The Lake House arrives on October 22 and shows itself in the launch trailer
The Lake House takes place after the main events of Alan Wake 2 and introduces a new playable character, Agent Kiran Estevez of the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). The plot focuses on exploring the mysterious structure of the Lake House, a place that hides dark secrets and connections to the Control universe. Agent Estevez is sent to Lake House to investigate a series of paranormal anomalies that have caught the attention of the FBC. The structure, located in a remote wooded area, has been the scene of inexplicable and disturbing events. Estevez must find out what is causing these anomalies and neutralize the threats that lurk within.
While exploring the Lake House, Estevez discovers that the structure is haunted by supernatural creatures known as "The Painted." These enemies can move through the supernatural paint, making them particularly elusive and dangerous. As Estevez progresses, he finds clues and documents that reveal the dark history of the Lake House and its connection to the events of Control. The plot of The Lake House weaves elements of Alan Wake 2 with the Control universe, suggesting that paranormal anomalies are part of a larger phenomenon involving both stories. Estevez encounters characters and references to Control events, creating a narrative link between the two games.
The expansion amplifies the horror element of the main game, with low lights, elusive enemies, and numerous scary situations; New enemies appear unexpectedly from supernatural paint on surfaces, attacking us with powerful melee attacks. The missions are structured like a classic survival horror game, with a large explorable area, secrets to discover, and dangerous enemies to face.
We leave you to the trailer: enjoy!
