Since the launch of xCloud, now known as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft has always stated that sooner or later we would also be able to play games purchased digitally from the store, outside the Game Pass catalog; It now seems that that moment is very close.

In fact, the well-known journalist Tom Warren tells The Verge that Microsoft will start testing this feature in November, with members of the Xbox Insider program. Initially, the feature will only be usable on a narrow selection of titles in the Xbox catalog, but Microsoft will add more and more over time. However, it is to be expected that those available initially are recently released titles, selected from the most popular.

These titles will be playable, as well as for those of the Game Pass, through the Xbox Cloud Gaming site both on PC and mobile, while only in the US it will be possible to play them on Android also through the Xbox app thanks to a recently issued court ruling.
