October 17, the launch day of the new title dedicated to FASA mechs, MechWarrior 5: Clans, is approaching and for the occasion Piranha Games and Microsoft have prepared a pleasant surprise: the game will be included in the Game Pass at launch.

For those unfamiliar with the MechWarrior series, this originated with the strategic board game BattleTech in the 80s, before being successfully adapted as a mech fighting series on PC until the dawn of the Xbox era as a more arcade title with the legendary MechAssault. After MW5: Mercenaries, more oriented towards multiplayer and procedural missions, this MechWarrior 5: Clans will introduce a single player campaign with more carefully curated content and a greater focus on the story, something that fans of the franchise have been asking for a long time.
