Halo Infinite announces a third-person multiplayer mode

Some might call it an identity crisis, others might say that they are necessary evolutions, but there is no doubt that Halo's multiplayer has changed considerably since the very first glories on the first Xbox. What was once a tactical and fast FPS, with few features but in which quick reflexes and knowledge of weapons and maps were very important, has added more and more features over time until it became what we have today in F2P Halo Infinite.

And now, on the occasion of the Halo World Championship, 343 Industries has announced a further epochal evolution coming in November: a third-person mode.

We imagine that this will be a mode in its own right that will not allow players to play in mixed first/third person mode, and it is certainly an experiment to test the public's liking, but so far the reactions have been very different: on the one hand there are those who applaud the choice, stating that thanks to this mode they will return to play the title, on the other hand, there are those who accuse the series of losing its identity, becoming a Fortnite or a clone of Helldivers, especially after the many other changes that the series has undergone to mobility, gameplay and aesthetic elements over time.

And what do you think of this choice? Tell us in the comments, in the meantime here's a taste of the new mode!
