The Farm 51 has released a new trailer for the post-apocalyptic action-RPG coming in 2025 Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, showing us the game's gameplay for the first time. Here it is below, along with a set of official details of the game.

OPEN WORLD EXPLORATION

Explore the large and realistic open world of the real Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. Chernobylite has taken over the area, transforming many of its elements, and people try to defend themselves against it using prototype technologies.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Create and develop your hero. Attributes and abilities affect combat effectiveness and conversational style. An arrogant muscular man with a big sword who tries to intimidate everyone? Or a smart sniper who always finds the right arguments? The choice is yours.

DIVERSE COMBAT

Fight for survival with an advanced melee combat system or keep enemies away with a vast arsenal of firearms in a third-person perspective - gaining complete control of your character. You can also use a stealth approach or ask others for help. When exploring the game world, you can see it from the perspective of your eyes, but when it comes to fighting, you'll have the third-person perspective to see all the threats around you more clearly and be able to react more accurately.

The combat system of Chernobylite 2 is a massive expansion of its predecessor. The introduction of advanced melee weapons and the crafting system offers greater diversity in character building, strategies, and tactics that you can create independently. Don't forget that if you like to play to the rhythm of the original Chernobylite, you can still do so.

PLANESWALKING

Adapt your body size and equipment to the situation with plane walking, which allows you to change things on the fly. You are free to develop more than one skill set for your character. Are you in a situation that your previously prepared heavy melee build will solve better than your current ranged sniper? Walk on one floor and use another.

Embark on the exciting journey of team building. Each of your classmates is a potential teacher, ready to share their knowledge and skills. BASE DEVELOPMENT

Develop your foundation. Here, you can craft valuable items and upgrade your weapons every day. Assign tasks to your employees and they will take care of your equipment and supplies.

FACTIONS

Fight for dominance and negotiate with factions. The Exclusion Zone is a battlefield that changes every day and reacts to your every action. Can you help them defeat the army of ferocious monsters? And when the old conflicts are rekindled, which side will you be on?

COOPERATIVE MISSIONS
