During the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft and World's Edge announced the Immortal Pillars DLC of Age of Mythology: Retold, which will introduce the pantheon of Chinese gods within their world. The DLC, for now without a date, will introduce 12 new gods.

Among these we will find Nüwa, goddess of creation, Chiyou, god of war with the head of a bull, and Nüba, restless goddess of drought. We will also be able to summon new divine powers, including the summoning of the mighty Yinglong, the flying rain dragon from Chinese mythology.
