If, between 1999 and 2001, you played on PC, PlayStation or Dreamcast, you will surely remember it as one of the most memorable titles of that gaming era, and now it is finally coming to Xbox as well: Aspyr media has announced Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered, a remastered edition of the Crystal Dynamics saga.

Arriving on December 10, this re-release of the two now cult action-adventure titles will offer us textures, models and visual effects in high resolution, a new photo mode, modernized camera management, a new control system and other new features, with the possibility of switching at any time between the original and remastered version of the game, so as to better appreciate both the improvements and the title released 25 years ago.

For those unfamiliar with the series, this one sees us impersonate the ghostly vampire Raziel, who has the ability to switch at will between the material and the spectral plane so as to be able to advance between the different areas of the game and overcome otherwise impassable blocks or walk on water, thus giving life to a complex system of environmental puzzles. All this is accompanied by hack-and-slash fights with a system of combos and finishing moves.
