Bethesda Softworks today released the same presentation video of Shattered Space, the Starfield expansion coming later this month, which we were able to see at gamescom and which we told you about.

Now you can finally see for yourself what awaits us in this important expansion, which will add a new planet full of stories, horror, mysteries to discover and above all entirely handmade, without procedural areas. As suggested in our preview from Cologne, the promise of the new story is that of a more "Bethesda" experience than ever, closer to the RPGs we have loved so far.

In Shattered Space, Starfield's first major expansion, players will visit House Va'ruun's homeworld for the first time. Explore a new place entirely handcrafted and unravel the mysteries of the followers of the Great Serpent. House Va'ruun is going through a difficult time, and its people need help finding a solution. When your sudden appearance on their hidden homeworld is considered by some to be divine intervention, it's up to you to restore House Va'ruun to its former glory and determine the fate of this secretive faction.

Shattered Space releases on September 30 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Owners of Starfield's Premium or Constellation editions will receive Shattered Space as part of their original purchase. Owners of the base edition can still purchase the Premium upgrade to access Shattered Space and other digital elements, including artbook, original soundtrack, 1,000 Crafting credits, and the Constellation skin pack.
