Forza Motorsport: many new features coming soon

Turn 10 announced last night a series of important news coming to Forza Motorsport, a title that the Redmond studio has never stopped supporting with continuous updates; among the upcoming news there are now features such as the Challenge Hub, new circuits, a Drift mode and more.

As for the Challenge Hub, Turn 10 explains that this will be a new section of the game that wants to respond to the many players who would like to earn new cars by racing online rather than in the Campaign Highlight Tours. The Challenge Hub will then provide us with a list of challenges that we can carry out to earn credits, cars, suits and other prizes, dividing them between single and multiplayer Campaign challenges.

Coming to the new circuits, two welcome returns will be introduced before the end of the year: Sunset Peninsula, the highly regarded FM4 circuit expected to arrive in October, and the legendary Australian Bathurst circuit, arriving in December and will also be accompanied by a Featured Tour that will celebrate the best of Australian cars and racing.

Coming instead to the more substantial news, the studio has also revealed that a Drift mode is in the works, which will be accompanied by a new range of Formula Drift cars. In these competitions, players will earn "Drift Points" based on the speed, angle, and duration of each drift. The score obtained must be successfully accumulated, without final errors, to be counted towards the total points. The driver with the highest drift score when the timer runs out will be considered the winner. The game's interface will also see the addition of HUD elements specific to the Drift mode.

In addition to this, the studio promises further new features such as a redesigned Spectator mode, a creative hub similar to that of Forza Horizon 5 and new weather customization options. In short, there will be no boredom for Forza Motorsport fans!
