Techland announces Dying Light: The Beast, trailer
Dying Light: The Beast is a zombie adventure in its own right, set in Castor Woods, a popular tourist destination now turned upside down. After 13 years spent as a guinea pig for ruthless experiments, you manage to escape from your tormentors. You swear revenge, but you discover that the stakes are much higher. The region is not as teeming with life as it once was, but people, factions, and horrible creatures still live there. Someone will ask you for help. Someone will want to kill you. And something in the woods will hunt you.
BECOME THE HERO OF LEGEND
You are Kyle Crane, the man whose selflessness at the beginning of the virus outbreak saved so many people from a less desirable fate than death. After more than a decade of being tortured by experiments, you find yourself in a world that is completely turned upside down. Now you will have to rely on your survival skills that have kept you alive for all those years to save more innocent lives.
EXPLORE A BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED OPEN WORLD
This is Castor Woods! What was once a busy tourist destination has been all but forgotten and is now overwhelmed by zombies. With natural attractions, small villages, and industrial complexes, the scenery offers multiple traversal possibilities, whether it's through parkour skills to gain an edge over enemies or board an abandoned 4x4 to escape the creatures of the night.
UNLEASH THE BEAST TO SURVIVE
You've been locked up in a cage like an animal for years, undergoing inhumane experiments, and you inevitably show the signs of it. Your DNA is now intertwined with that of zombies, and you are able to unleash a beastly force. It runs through your veins. No one can take it away from you. Take advantage of it. And you'll find that it's much more than just a sentence.
ENJOY THE DAY, SURVIVE THE NIGHT
During the day, you'll have plenty of opportunities to explore the region, so try to make the most of your time while the sun is up. Once it falls, the laws of nature take their natural course: the darkness brings out the worst in the hordes, leaving you with no option but to run, hide, or fight.
IT IS EASIER TO SURVIVE IN 4
Sometimes it's better to stick together. You never know who or what might be meddling in your adventure. Team up to 4 players in co-op, or use your own strength, if you dare to do it all yourself.
