Plaion and Dambuster Studios today announced Dead Island 2 Patch 6, a new free update coming October 22 that will bring a wave of new content and features designed to offer an even more immersive experience for players.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the New Game Plus , and their wishes have been granted. Players can now immerse themselves once again in the heart of HELL-A, armed with their favorite characters, weapons, and a host of new challenges. In addition to the increased difficulty, new enemies , and additional skill slots, the fight against the undead will be more intense than ever.

The new content in Patch 6 doesn't end there. Neighborhood Watch has been introduced, an all-new co-op horde mode that pits players against relentless swarms of zombies. As the Bobcats, a new trio of college survivors, players must defend their home in Venice from relentless waves of the undead. With each match, players will face new challenges and unlock different abilities, original weapons, and themed skins, for a unique and exciting experience.
