No More Robots and RageSquid today announced Descenders Next, the follow-up to the downhill bike title Descenders which this time opens up to all kinds of extreme sports. Also arriving in 2025 in the Game Pass, the title is proposed as a constantly evolving game, starting with some extreme sports "on the board" and then gradually adding more and more.

Descenders Next will already be as rich in content as Descenders at launch, with full online multiplayer action, tons of tricks and grinds to pull off, and several massive biomes to explore. Players will gain reputation as they climb the mountain and use it to purchase new boards, kits, helmets, goggles, and more to customize their rider.

Last time, Descenders offered both procedurally generated tracks and a selection of hand-crafted parks. With Descenders Next , we've brought it all together into a more natural experience: players will face procedurally generated off-piste mountains that chain into narrow, winding parks and vistas.

The parks, in particular, will offer new challenges and at the same time serve as playgrounds for the enjoyment of Next. Sometimes you'll be required to run down the mountain with your friends as fast as possible, while other times you'll have to focus on the perfect tricks and landings. Treasure hunts will see players explore every inch of the mountain, unlocking special rewards for those who venture deeper.

All topped off with an absolutely killer Monstercat soundtrack, and you will have one more reason to spend hours and hours on the slopes, relaxing to the rhythm of the latest drum and bass hits.
