The well-known journalist of The Verge, Tom Warren, revealed today that, according to his sources, Obsidian has decided to postpone the long-awaited RPG Avowed by a few months: instead of the end of the year, the game would arrive at the beginning of 2025.

Warren explains that this decision has nothing to do with the quality of the game, which according to his sources is already in excellent shape: Obsidian would only have wanted to take it away from a too crowded period of releases, moving it to where it will have "more breathing room".

If the rumor is true, the official announcement will probably come between now and gamescom, so in 2-3 weeks at the most we will know. We look forward to it!
