2K and Firaxis announced today that the gameplay of Sid Meier's Civilization VII, the highly anticipated new installment in the popular historical simulation series, will finally be revealed at gamescom in Cologne.

The reveal will start on August 20 evening, when the game will be shown during the Opening Night Live conference, which will then be followed at 22:30 by an official presentation of the gameplay on Twitch.tv/Firaxisgames, with more than 20 minutes of exclusive insights into the new features and innovations.
