Microsoft reformulates Game Pass plans and increases the price of the Ultimate: all the details

Microsoft today announced a new revision of the Game Pass subscription plans, one year after the announcement of the Game Pass Core. The new plan sees a price increase of the Game Pass Ultimate, which will go from the current 14,99 Euros per month to 17,99 Euros, the annual subscription Core, which will go from 59,99 to 69,99 Euros, and the Game Pass PC, which goes from 9,99 per month to 11,99. But that's not all.

A new "non-Ultimate" subscription has also been introduced, called Game Pass Standard, dedicated only to new subscribers (therefore not applied to the renewals of the current Game Pass) and which, at the price of $14.99 (Italian price to be confirmed), will include multiplayer gaming and the entire catalog of Game Pass games, but not Day One games, which for this tier will arrive with a little delay, it is not clear for now how much. This tier will not include Xbox Cloud, which remains the prerogative of the Ultimate subscription.

For those who have the "non-Ultimate" Game Pass today, however, nothing will change: it will continue to renew at the same price, although now it will not be possible to accumulate more than 13 months of renewal together (so far it was 3 years), exclusively for this plan. But those who cancel it will not be able to resume it and will be able to choose between Core, Standard and Ultimate.
