One of the most anticipated announcements by Starfield fans is the release date of Shattered Space, the major expansion that will add new missions, characters and visitable areas to the game's vast galaxy. And now the creator of the title, Todd Howard, gives us a clearer idea of when we will be able to play it.

Speaking to the microphones of the Kinda Funny Games show, Howard explained that the expansion will arrive in the fall, so at the end of 2024.

But that's not all: Howard has in fact revealed that there is "a big update coming very soon for Starfield", with an announcement that will come in a few days: the update will contain important news for ship construction and city maps, as well as other improvements.

In addition to this, the game director also wanted to unbutton on the game's Creation Kit , the long-awaited feature that will allow us to use mods on consoles as well: here too we will soon have news, with some mod creators who are already testing it.

It's likely that all these new features will be revealed in just over a month, at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th: stay tuned!
