Studio Slow Bros announced today that their narrative adventure Harold Halibut, a "handcrafted" game, which took the small team 10 years to develop, will finally arrive on April 16 and will be included in Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Harold Halibut is a game about friendship, set on a spaceship the size of a city immersed in an alien ocean, in a story that will keep us busy for 12 hours or more. In the role of the protagonist Harold we will be able to explore a lively and retro-futuristic world to find the true meaning of the word "home". The game is characterized by a stop-motion visual style, where all the objects, scenarios and characters have been created by sculptors and then scanned in 3D to be animated within the game.

It's been 250 years since your home, a spaceship that serves as Noah's ark, left an Earth on the brink of a Cold War to find a hospitable planet on which to safeguard the human race.

You are Harold, the young assistant to the spacecraft's chief scientist, Jeanne Mareaux. Although many inhabitants have accepted the idea of living aboard a spaceship submerged in the ocean, Mareaux continues to work tirelessly to leave the planet and find a new home... drier.

But the strange and wonderful inhabitants of FEDORA I also give Harold something to do... Until a fateful encounter lands Harold in a world that no one could have ever imagined, a world that could hold the key to Mareaux's project of a new launch.

Together with Harold, he explores a vibrant, retro-futuristic world and finds the true meaning of the word "home."
