Warner Bros. today released a trailer showing the gameplay of Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the first content of Rocksteady's title that will see the arrival of the Joker as a playable character.

The first season of the game will be available on March 28 at no additional cost, and will see members of the Suicide Squad teleport to an Elseworld overrun by Brainiac to rescue and recruit a Joker from an alternate reality. This version of the famous supervillain will bring chaos and confusion to the team, along with a healthy dose of explosives and a rocket umbrella with which to soar through the air and fly over the city. In addition, all content in Season 1 will be set against the backdrop of an ever-changing Elseworlds version of Metropolis, with a distorted landscape that has been reimagined in the image of the Joker.

Season 1 will also have two dedicated episodes, each featuring new raids and strongholds, quests and activities, DC super villain weapons, gear and cosmetic items, Brainiac boss fights, and more. Episode 1: Fear will begin on March 28 with weapons and equipment inspired by the Scarecrow's terrifying toxins and poisons, as well as elements related to Mad Hatter, Merlyn, and Doctor Psycho. Episode 2: Duality will be released as a mid-season update and will introduce a new quest type, new enemies powered by Green Lantern, new gear sets and weapons based on DC supervillains Two-Face, Black Manta and Anti-Flash.
