It's been a year and a half since, in 2022, Skydance New Media announced a title with Captain America and Black Panther directed by Any Hennig, former writer of Uncharted. Today, the studio finally announces the name of the game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, showing it to us in a trailer.

Skydance explains that the game will arrive in 2025, so there will still be a bit of a wait, but already we can see how the game will be set in the period of World War II and that it will see Cap and Black Panther in conflict with each other, at least initially. The title also references the birth of Hydra, so we can expect to encounter the pantheon of classic Captain America super villains, the Red Skull in the first place.
