Microids presented at the Game Developers Conference a trailer that shows us the realistic graphics of Empire of the Ants, a strategy title set in the world of insects and inspired by the "ant trilogy" by science fiction writer Bernard Werber.

Coming later this year, Empire of the Ants will immerse players in a microscopic forest ecosystem as 103,683rd, an ant who has sworn to protect his colony no matter what. The game will offer usstrategy, exploration and conflicts, while alliances with local wildlife species will be essential for the survival of our colony.
