After announcing it at last year's Xbox Showcase , Capcom takes advantage of a new Xbox event, the Partner Showcase, to return to show us the action game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, coming to day one in the Game Pass.

As the protagonist Soh, the player is tasked with rescuing the villagers and restoring peace alongside the Mountain Priestess, Yoshiro, by eliminating the contamination that infects their land on Mt. Kafuku.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess incorporates a unique real-time day-night cycle. During the day, the player's strategic skills are put to the test as they deliberately plan the purge of the contaminated village by rescuing the villagers, assigning them roles, and repairing their defensive devices to prepare for the upcoming battle. When night falls, it's time to fight against the horrific Furies that emerge from the Torii Portals and aim to attack Yoshiro.

Players must use their combat skills to defend the Priestess, adapt to ever-changing battle conditions, fight alongside the villagers, and use the power of Soh's sword techniques. Enjoy a fusion of real-time strategy and hilarious action by repeating this day-night cycle to eliminate desecration and restore peace to the country with Soh and Yoshiro.
