The Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has announced that from today we can buy and play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy, a collection of the first three titles of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series now playable on Xbox: Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008) and Call of Prypiat (2009). A great way to prepare for the arrival of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, expected in September.

These versions of the three classic games are optimized for consoles and include, among other things, a new interface and new controls, refined graphics, an adapted aiming system and the presence of objectives.

GSC's future plans for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy also include major updates. The first is coming soon and will include support for mods via mod.io (https://mod.io/). Xbox players will be able to create mods on PC and install them on consoles. Another is a current-gen patch for Xbox Series X/S that will include graphics/performance improvements and additional features.
