2K today announced Visual Concepts will develop WWE 2K24, the next installment of the upcoming wrestling series on our consoles. This year, the game will feature Cody Rhodes on the cover of "The American Nightmare" standard edition, while multiple women's Royal Rumble champions and winners Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will share the cover of the deluxe edition.

WWE 2K24 features several new features for the franchise, including the 2K Showcase... of the Immortals celebrating 40 years of WrestleMania, four new match types such as Ambulance and Exceptional Referee, two new MyRISE experiences, and many more.

In addition, fans will be able to count on a vast roster of over 200 WWE Superstars and Legends, including Roman Reigns, Andre the Giant, Becky Lynch, Batista, Kurt Angle, Asuka, Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Chyna and more. Realistic graphics and refined animations - with more than 90% of facial expressions updated - along with improvements made to the ramp cameras and the ability to move the camera during live play, deliver the most visually impressive WWE 2K experience ever.

WWE 2K24 features several hallmarks from the series, as well as new additions and reimaginings of fan-favorite titles:

• The 2K Showcase of the Immortals: For 40 years, WrestleMania captivated millions of fans around the world as WWE Superstars became Legends and marked unforgettable moments – from Hulk Hogan defeating Andre the Giant, to "Mr. WrestleMania" Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker bringing a momentous match to life – cementing the legacy of the WWE Hall of Fame.
  "The Most Prestigious Stage of All" sparked cheers from over 100,000 in attendance, as WWE's biggest icons made history and shed every drop of blood, sweat and tears in the ring. After 40 years in the making, WWE 2K24 Showcase... of the Immortals puts players in charge, bringing to life the most iconic moments in WrestleMania history, while 2K's exclusive Slingshot Technology transforms gameplay into live-action footage and vice versa for a more immersive WrestleMania gameplay experience than ever before. A range of unlockable content adds challenge and value to this amazing experience;
• Iconic Roster: WWE 2K24 boasts an all-star roster featuring WWE legends like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Undertaker, and Andre the Giant, as well as current WWE Superstars like "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns, whose entrances and signature moves are enhanced by ultra-realistic visuals.
• New Match Types and Improvements to Existing Models: Players have been asking for it, and WWE 2K24 has done it, with four new and action-packed match types: Exceptional Referee, Ambulance Match, Casket Match, and Gauntlet Match. In addition, the backstage brawl is now supported by 4 players and new interactive elements, including a working elevator, control room glass that can be broken, and a drink dispenser that can be thrown, while the Royal Rumble now offers support for eight players in online matches of 30 Superstars. All the familiar match types from WWE 2K also return, such as WarGames, Extreme Rules, TLC, Submission, Hell in a Cell, and many more. • Gameplay Improvements: WWE 2K24 features a number of gameplay improvements, including Super Moves, the Strike-on-Blow mini-game, a dive attack from the top rope on a group of opponents outside the ring, double title matches, new Paybacks, and more. New types of weapons, including trash cans, guitars, and microphones, as well as the ability to be used, allow players to perform at their best. In addition, there are seven real WWE referees to make the experience even more immersive;
• MyGM: The popular WWE brand management simulation continues to expand with new GMs and brands to choose from, more match types, more drama, more leagues, talent scouting, swapping Superstars between brands, managing Superstar contracts, and the new Superstar Journey, which allows Superstars to earn XP, train and level up to gain new advantages after participating in matches;
• MyFACTION: The team-building mode where players choose, manage, and upgrade a variety of WWE Superstars and Legends to create their own four-character factions, returns with a new directly purchasable card market and an updated multiplayer experience. Players can now compete in Online Quick Match with unique rewards and seasonal leaderboards, compete with Weekly Towers, and take on a revamped Faction War 2.0, featuring more Royal Factions, more 4v4 match types, a Faction War-specific Rewards Shop, and more. New themed card packs and objectives will continue to release regularly throughout the year with seasonal content updates;
• MyRISE: In WWE 2K's exclusive career mode, two new storylines - Undisputed (male) and Unleashed (female) - put players in control of purpose-built Superstars seeking to make a name for themselves and cement their legacy in WWE history. With Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Mick Foley, and more lending voiceovers to MyASCENSION for the first time, along with other Superstars and Legends, expanded rewards, characters, and original MyASCENSION unlockables that can be transferred to other game modes and new locations, MyASCENSION impacts the overall WWE 2K experience like never before;
• Universe: The ultimate sandbox in the WWE Universe that puts players in charge of Superstar rosters, battles, champions, weekly shows, and Premium Live Events, now features expanded Rivalry Actions, including interference, Money in the Bank cashouts, scenarios, and brawls, as well as new cutscenes, the support of referees as special guests, double matches for the title and a "Whoever loses goes" clause;
• Creations Menu: The masterpiece of the WWE 2K franchise, the most detailed and robust Creations menu in the category, returns with new support for Creating a Referee and Creating a Sign, as well as new parts and animations to design Superstars, GMs, arenas, entrances, movesets, championships, and more;
