The rumors were true: Microsoft announced today when the next showcase of Xbox First Party titles, the Developer Direct, will take place: January 18 at 21:00 (Italian time).

The event will be an opportunity for the respective developers to show us some highly anticipated titles and, presumably, coming out this year: not only Avowed by Obsidian and Senua's Saga: Hellblade II by Ninja Theory, but also the long-awaited Indiana Jones by MachineGames and the sim/management for PC Ara: History Untold. Of course, we hope that, at least for some of these, the release dates will be revealed and that there will also be some unannounced surprises.

The event will be followed by a showcase dedicated to the next expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online, while Microsoft anticipates that there will be no news on Activision games, reserving the right to update us on these later in the year.
