Starfield: Bethesda delves into the lore by telling us about the events before the game
The study has in fact released today the chronology of the most important events that led man from the first trip to Mars to the colonization of the galaxy: events that will surely be mentioned during the game and that make us understand what is the path of humanity from the first steps in space to the complete desertification of the planet and the diaspora of mankind to other planets.

The Colonial Union places the space station called the "Clinic" in Deepala's orbit in the Narion system. The people of Narion, who are not part of the UC, see it as an attempt to extend boundaries and demand that the Clinic be removed. When the UC refused, the inhabitants of Narion voted to join the Freestar Collective, which mobilized to protect the system in 2195.2196
In response to the Freestar mobilization, the UC brings a fleet into the Narion system and the Collective responds. Narion's War begins.2216
The Narion War drags on and general tempers escalate. Finally, the UC and the Freestar Collective sign the Treaty of Narion in 2216, ending the conflict. The term "Colonized Systems" is formalized in the treaty.2221

Constellation is formed by Sebastian Banks. The Freestar Collective starts farming activities on the planet Vesta in the Lunara system. In 2308, the Colonial Union states that by establishing a colony in a fourth star system, the Freestar Collective violated the Treaty of Narion. The diplomatic talks fail and the UC besieges Vesta, exterminating anyone who has remained (or arrived) to defend him. The Colonial War officially begins.2310
Constellation gets hold of the first Artifact and hides it in its archives.2311
After several years of conflict, the Colonial War essentially comes to an end with the Battle of Cheyenne, in which a civilian and military flotilla of the Freestar Collective manages to shoot down the main ships of the UC Navy using hit-and-run tactics.2315
The UC Vanguard is founded in response to the Freestar Collective's use of civilian ships in the Colonial War. The Vanguard is the civilian fleet of the UC, made up of citizens who use their own ship and have taken an oath to protect the Colonial Union and its interests. This service guarantees the highest reward - citizenship of the Colonial Union.2319
