Halo Infinite introduces Echoes Within, the multiplayer Season 3 and the biggest to date
One of the main contents of the new season will be the Battle Pass, consisting of 100 levels, which players can complete to obtain customization items for their Spartans. The Season 3 trailer showed several techno-futuristic armors, which will likely be connected to one or two new armor cores, just like in the past with previous battle passes.
In addition, three new maps will be introduced in the game: a large, sandy map called Oasis, designed for Big Team Battle, an arena called Cliffhanger located in an UNSC structure surrounded by huge rocky peaks, and a Forerunner-themed arena called Chasm, characterized by a huge abyss under the central bridge of the map. In addition, a fan-created Forge map, called Art's Room, will be added to the new Halo Infinite Forge playlist.
Season 3 will also bring a new game mode called Escalation Slayer, based on the classic Gun Game minigame where players get instant access to new weapons after each kill. The trailer also showed the use of two new sandbox objects: the Matte Screen and the Bandit M392. The first is a piece of equipment that creates an opaque bubble that blocks the view when used, while the second is a high-precision rifle oriented towards close combat.
The Season 3 trailer also showed teasers for the season's story, featuring the return of Spartan Dinh and Season 2's bandit AI Iratus . Iratus seems to be able to take control of Dinh and his armor, opening up the possibility of new game modes such as Infection or PvE Extraction.
In general, the Halo Infinite Season 3 trailer revealed a lot of exciting news for fans of the game. The addition of new maps, sandbox objects, and game modes promises to keep gameplay fresh and engaging for players. The new season also seems to offer a more story-driven experience, paving the way for new possibilities and new adventures for Halo fans.
We leave you to the trailer, enjoy!
