As promised, tonight Playground Games has finally announced the second major expansion of Forza Horizon 5: it will be called Rally Adventure and we can play it from March 29th.

As for the first, this expansion will also be included for all owners of the Premium Add-on Pack or purchased separately, and as the title itself suggests, it will see us whizzing through a rally event and a new map, the Sierra Nueva.

Welcome to Sierra Nueva

Sierra Nueva offers miles of our most extreme roads ever, full of unpredictable curves with steep inclines, blind ridges and asphalt jumps. Riders will be able to lift huge dust trails and experience deformable sand roads intertwined with pre-deformed tire tracks.

This brand new location features a number of biomes to explore, including the town of Pueblo Artza, a huge abandoned quarry perfect for gymkhana action, epic sand dunes, the narrow, winding desert gorge, rolling green hills and a forest of completely destructible palm trees.

Join a team, become a rally hero

To make the most of this incredible environment, we've created the most exciting race courses in Forza Horizon history, with the most race events in any Horizon expansion.

These events are brought together in our exciting new Campaign mode, where you can team up with three rally teams and tackle the timed stages of Horizon Rally and Horizon Races with multiple cars. In these modes, you can race on gravel, asphalt and challenging night scenarios to demonstrate your mastery of all aspects of rally driving.

An authentic rally experience

Listen to navigation tips from your new co-pilot, who follows each race from the dynamic Horizon Rally helicopter and ensures success even on the most challenging routes thanks to a spectacular night reflector. Rally drivers should also pay close attention to Horizon Rally's new HUD , which includes useful on-screen information such as a mini-leaderboard, pace notes, and position changes that can be turned on or off.

We're also expanding our range of EventLab props with a selection of new items, including barriers, flags and civilian vehicles, which will allow you to build new races that mimic the look and feel of a Horizon Rally event! These items will be available to all Forza Horizon 5 players, regardless of ownership of the new expansion.

Rally monsters built ad hoc

It wouldn't be a new expansion of Forza without cars, and not only do we have 10 amazing new off-road cars, but we're also introducing brand new rally parts, including an anti-lag system that provides more power to the turbocharged engines, with spectacular flame effects and split-everything audio! Everyone will be able to enjoy perfect starts, regardless of skill level, thanks to launch control, a new assistance system for all cars.

As for new vehicles, we have the gorgeous all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum from 2022, the incredible 1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle 5/1600 "Scumbug," and rally legend like the 2001 #4 Ford Focus RS.

Rocked to the rhythm of punk

To celebrate the release of Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, we're introducing new fan-favorite music from Epitaph Radio with a punk soundtrack for all players. It's the perfect background to accompany the dirtiest and dustiest races ever seen in a Forza Horizon game. This new station will be added to the Forza Horizon 5 radio watch faces in a free update to accompany the expansion's release.
