The developers explain that as many as 200 employees moved to a studio in Prague, while 130 preferred to stay in Ukraine, including some engaged in the war. The new studio in Prague has been fully operational since last October, and the development of the game is proceeding smoothly.

The team is eager to bring into the hands of the public an important work made under the looming shadow of war, and is aware that they have many eyes on them: the recent name change from "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chernobyl" to "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl" was intended precisely to reflect Ukrainian orthography.
