Jez Corden's sources were right: Microsoft today announced Developer_Direct, an online event that will take place on January 25 at 9 p.m. (CET) and aims to provide fans with a detailed look at some of the games coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass in the coming months.

The event will be hosted by the developers of the various games, from studios such as Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios and ZeniMax Online Studios, will focus on features, extensive gameplay demonstrations and the latest information for Xbox games launching in the coming months, including Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall, and on the novelties of titles such as The Elder Scrolls Online.

Microsoft has also confirmed that Starfield will not be part of the event because, to dedicate the right time to an in-depth analysis of the highly anticipated title, a separate show is being prepared.

The show should last about 45 minutes, and will be followed immediately after by a live broadcast of ZeniMax Online Studios that will deepen what was said during the event.

As usual we can follow everything on the channels (Twitch and YouTube) of Xbox, or on those (Twitch and YouTube) of Bethesda.

This is the program for the show:

• The Elder Scrolls Online: Studio Director Matt Firor will unveil the major Chapter 2023 update, including the latest regions of Tamriel that will become playable in ESO, as well as a major new addition to this year's biggest game update. The Developer_Direct will be immediately followed by the ESO Chapter Reveal Event, hosted by Zenimax Online Studios, which will provide all the in-depth details ESO players want to know.
• Forza Motorsport: The team at Turn 10 Studios has worked hard to bring fans the next generation of Forza Motorsport, built from the ground up to take advantage of Xbox's X|S series. Forza Motorsport is back, and we can't wait to share more gameplay and new details.
• Minecraft Legends: Mojang Studios will present a preview of the PvP multiplayer experience of Minecraft Legends, the next action and strategy game from the creators of Minecraft. Developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive and launching this spring, don't miss exclusive gameplay footage at the Developer_Direct.
• Redfall: The minds behind Dishonored and Prey, Arkane Austin, will show several minutes of gameplay of their upcoming FPS. The Developer_Direct will reveal single and multiplayer gameplay, showing how you and your friends can defeat bloodthirsty vampires on the picturesque island of Redfall, Massachusetts. Fans will learn more about combat, customization, bosses, the open world, and more.
