On the eve of the new year, we are still waiting to find out the release dates of the Microsoft titles already announced: Forza Motorsport, Starfield and Redfall. But precisely about the latter, recent rumors indicate that it could have a release set for early May 2023.

The rumor had begun to circulate a few days on Twitch, but only today comes a reliable confirmation from Jez Corden of Windows Central, who received the same information from his sources: according to Corden, Microsoft / Bethesda / Arkane have as their current goal to release the game at the beginning of May, also accompanied by a period of early access for those who buy a "premium" version of the game.

To know if it will really be so, we will have to wait for the official announcement that will come, in all probability, at the rumored Xbox event at the beginning of the year.

If you have not followed the game, we remind you that Redfall is an open world FPS in which alone or with up to 3 friends in online co-op we will have to free a city from a terrible vampire infection. In full Arkane style, the game will provide us with very original weapons, special abilities and a gameplay full of stealth elements. Arkane pointed out that, despite being a co-op playable title, playing it alone will experience the same kind of "immersive simulation" offered by the other titles of the studio, such as Dishonored, Prey and Deathloop.
