Xbox Game Pass: Microsoft confirms there will be no announcements for the second half of the month
Microsoft has now officially confirmed that that's all for this year: we will have to wait for the beginning of January for new announcements. The confirmation comes from the voice of the community manager of the Game Pass Megan Spurr, better known by fans as Melissa McGamePass, who announced on Discord that no other announcements are planned, postponing us to January for further news.
The month of December 2022 therefore stops at the 11 games announced at the beginning of the month, among which we still find acclaimed titles such as High on Life (revealed to be a real record-breaking game), LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Hot Wheels Unleashed, The Walking Dead: The Final Season and the acclaimed retro-flavored action-RPG Eastward.
Although Microsoft has never released games in Game Pass after December 17, this is the first year that there is no "second release" in the second half of the month. Last year, 11 games were released all on December 16, while in 2020 there were always 11 between December 15 and 17. We hope that this little break heralds a particularly rich January for subscribers to the service!
