Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios announced today that the long-awaited and multi-delayed Dead Island 2 won't make it to February 3, as previously announced, but has suffered a three-month delay until April 28.

The postponement, explain the developers, was wanted to have more time to refine the game and release it at the quality levels that fans expect. In the meantime, however, we will not remain dry-mouthed: a new demonstration of the title has in fact been announced for December 6, where we will be able to see more of the game's gameplay.
