Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced today that the long-awaited action game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will arrive on March 3, 2024: we remind you that on the same date the game will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a masochistic action game (a neologism that blends masochism and hardcore, with a clearly self-explanatory meaning that refers to the high difficulty of the fights) dark fantasy set in the period of the Three Kingdoms.

It is 184 AD in China, during the twilight of the Han dynasty. The country is ravaged by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty that prospered for many years is close to collapse. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the dramatic, action-packed story of an unnamed militia soldier fighting to survive in a dark fantasy version set at the end of the Han Dynasty during which demons infest the Three Kingdoms. Players must defend themselves from the attack of deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using the art of fencing based on Chinese martial arts attempting to overwhelm opponents by awakening inner strength.

Wo Long can refer to a crouching dragon but also to a hero or a person of great value at the moment still unknown. This is a story of officers, who will later become heroes, during their "unknown" period. And it is also a story of ascent to the role of protagonists starting from the rear.
