If you've been following the Xbox world for more than a couple of generations, you'll probably know the name of Bonnie Ross, founder of the 343 Industries studio after the company's "divorce" with Bungie. The manager led the firm for 15 years before announcing her departure today.

And the circumstances for her exit from the studio are not the happiest: Ross explained that she was forced by health problems in the family: if someone leaves her company and a long career for such a reason, it means that it must be something very serious. We are therefore saddened by this circumstance and wish Bonnie a happy resolution of the family problems.

But what will happen at 343 Industries with the exit of Ross? Microsoft has announced a restructuring of the studio's top management , with veteran Pierre Hintze becoming its new head, Bryan Koski as director of the franchise and Elizabeth Van Wyck as director of operations and business. Hintze's appointment is particularly significant, because he was hired to revive the Master Chief Collection after a very shaky launch, and since then he has been committed to drastically improving it by bringing more and more content and improvements. So surely someone who has touched the expectations and disappointment of the fans regarding such a beloved franchise.

So we just have to wish all the best to Bonnie Ross and family, while for Pierre Hintze and the rest of the team we hope to be able to do a job that lives up to the expectations of the fans!
