2K announces PGA Tour 2K23, arrives in October
Woods leads a roster of more than 14 male and female professionals present at the launch, including: Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson and others. Players can step into the tee box as one of the pros in Esibizione, multiplayer and Divot Derby modes, or challenge them in a battle to climb the leaderboard and conquer the FedExCup in the PGA TOUR MyCAREER mode. In addition to the professionals, the commentary team of Rich Beem and Luke Elvy is also back , with the addition of the English professional and broadcaster Henni Koyack.
PGA Tour 2K23 will include 20 licensed fields at launch. New additions include Wilmington Country Club's South Course, Renaissance Club, St. George's Golf and Country Club and more. The industry-leading Course Designer also returns, offering players the opportunity to build their dream fields and share them with a global online community. MyPLAYER customization returns and players can equip their MyPLAYER just like Tiger with Nike Golf, TaylorMade and Bridgestone Golf clothing and equipment. Even more clothing options are available from licensed brands, including Adidas, Callaway Golf, FootJoy, Malbon Golf, Nike Golf, PUMA, Titleist, TravisMathew, and more. Mballs and balls from brands such as Bridgestone Golf, Callaway Golf, COBRA, Mizuno, Odyssey Golf, Scotty Cameron, TaylorMade, Titleist and Wilson are available to decorate players' golf bags. In addition to the return of the swing with the analog stick, a three-click swing option is also available for an extra layer of customization, so that players can play the way they prefer.
PGA Tour 2K23 offers new random modes to help beginners get into the game, while offering more experienced players new challenges and opportunities to improve their skills. Topgolf's introduction offers a unique experience that emulates the popular phenomenon of golf, where players can aim at targets and try to get the highest score. The training mode offers several ways to develop your skills, including swing calibration, lessons, chipping practice, driving range and putting green. The online multiplayer functions are also back. Online companies encourage players to team up with friends for custom tournaments and full seasons, while the Clubhouse Pass will provide post-launch content and achievements that players can take advantage of in the future.
