It was already in the air for a few days, and now we have the confirmation: after acquiring the horror franchise in 2018, THQ Nordic is finally ready to reveal the new Alone in the Dark during the THQ Nordic Showcase that will take place tonight at 21:00, and that we remind you you can follow with us on our Twitch channel.

The confirmation comes through the leak of some images, including the cover, and the first details of the game; we discover that the title is made by the Swedish Pieces Interactive, so far authors of the expansions for the isometric hack'n'slash titan quest series, and that the psychological horror story is written by the same author of acclaimed titles such as SOMA and Amnesia, Mikael Hedberg. The game will allow us to choose whether to impersonate one of the two protagonists, a man and a woman.

It is also impossible not to notice the similarity of the protagonist with Ronan O'Connor, the protagonist of the 2014 adventure Murdered: Soul Suspect, obviously a fortuitous coincidence.
